D ran to second and got lost between second and third.

The tool race is R's favorite part of a Braves game and here she is with the tools!

His first major league at bat. He ran to first and kept running all the way out to right field.

celebrating R's birthday with Grandma and Grandpa

R remembered that Grandma and Grandpa were not with her for her birthday and insisted on celebrating again with them. Of course, Grandma and Grandpa obliged and bought her an ice cream cake.

D sleeps in a big boy bed

It only lasted a few nights and then he went back with Mommy.
(Mommy was tired of him waking up in the middle of the night crying.)

friends forever

E's last day of 1st grade

We had planned that his last day of school would be Thursday since we live an hour away now, but he didn't feel well Thursday morning so he missed school and therefore his 1st grade performance that we all planned on going to see. The good news is that he got to go to school on Friday for a few hours while I got some things done at our newly old house. I picked him up before lunch so we could go to a water park with friends that afternoon.

"In five years I will play player pitch" (baseball)
"In ten years I will play for the Atlanta Braves!" (he will be 17)

"My faimly going to Bangladesh. We are ging to eat at Taj's house. And we are going to drink the Pacific Ocean!"
(Taj was one of his best friends at school)

MOVING DAY

Today we moved. No photos, but it was a long, busy, and sad day for us as we said goodbye to the house we have loved and neighbors who are like family.

E's last weekend of baseball for the season

We were actually home for the end of season baseball tournament that we thought we would miss. His team won the first two games, sending them to another game Monday night at 7:15pm. This was the day we moved so Daddy and Grandpa stayed back with him and he and Grandpa stayed at a hotel that night. He had to be at school the next morning and our new house is an hour away. They won Monday night too against the undefeated team, which made it so they had to play Wednesday night at 5:45. If they won at 5:45, they would have won the tournament, but they lost. It was double elimination so they played again at 7:15 that night. We did not know they would have to play again, so Grandpa and E didn't have their things to stay at a hotel. They lost that second game too. The team was just not playing like they usually do. Sad E and Grandpa came back to our new house very late that night. It was an exciting end to E's baseball career in Newnan.
